Upgrade further update
Gunther's going to be doing some work on the site starting around 11pm BST Thursday, that could last into Saturday. There could be several outages during this time.

Upgrade update
Unfortunately the upgrade was unsuccessful. We are currently back on the old version of the board and the technical team are currently investigating.

Upgrade to IPB v4
Thanks to the generosity of our Sponsors we're upgrading our board software to the latest version.
(1) COYS will be brought down around 5pm (BST) on Tuesday August 23rd to migrate our files and databases to the latest version of the board software. The outage will last anywhere from 4-12 hours.
(2) A key change for all COYSers to bear in mind is that usernames will be no more. You will need to use your DISPLAY NAME and PASSWORD to log into the board.
(3) Please make COYS SOUP --- http://coys-soup.blogspot.com/your first port of call for updates on progress. If there is a problem with the cutover, it will be logged there.
(4) If you haven't been able to successfully log in by Thursday August 25th, please send an email to admin@comeonyouspurs.com
(5) Once the upgrade has been completed, we will create a thread in the Danny Blanchflower Saloon for COYSers to log any issues they notice with the board. There are sure to be teething pains and some features (e.g. transfer window countdown clock) won't be available, at least for awhile. Please be patient as we work out way through the issues list, and we all get used to the layout and features of the new software.

Planned maintenance
COYS will be taken offline at around 11:30pm BST on Saturday night (the 13th) for Gunther to update a number of the applications that underpin the site. The outage could last up to 8 hours, so please don't email admin if you can't log in. If things aren't going well, COYS SOUP will be updated.
This work is being done in preparation for a major upgrade of the IPB board software that should happen some time in the next few months.
